Adam Forshaw thinks Middlesbrough's three January signings could prove to be key additions.
Rudy Gestede, Patrick Bamford and Adlene Guedioura all signed permanent deals during the transfer window.
“We tried hard to get some players in and we've done that, getting three really good ones," Forshaw told the club website.
“Obviously the fans will be made up to have Pat [Bamford] back and Rudy and Adlene have settled in really well, too.
“Adlene likes to get himself in the box. Being critical of myself and others we maybe should score a few more goals and hopefully he can help the team do that. He's just something different.
“Obviously there's a freshness about them. Pat hasn't played a lot of football since he left here so he's young and hungry and he loves scoring goals.
“Everyone knows Rudy's threat. He's brilliant in the air and can bring players into play. He's good for the likes of me who can join in and run off him."
