Achraf Lazaar has returned to Newcastle United - but is training with the academy.
The Morocco international - who is netting around £32,000 a week - was training alone in Sicily earlier in the summer after a loan stint with Serie B side Cosenza, says the Evening Chronicle.
But the former Serie C outfit passed on the chance to turn his loan deal into a permanent move.
United boss Steve Bruce has told Lazaar and his agent to find another club after openly admitting it was time for him to find a “new home."
Lazaar, who Bruce had on loan At Sheffield Wednesday, has just nine months left on his current deal after arriving from Palermo in 2016.
