AC Milan midfielder Yoann Gourcuff has revealed how players cannot ever be openly honest with the local media.
He told L'Equipe: "I explained to the Italian press that I felt responsible for the second goal scored by Celtic in the Champions League match. I was just being honest, but the next day the newspapers have pounced on it.
"They took what I said to be critical of my performance. Milan players since have told me that we must never admit to the press that we have faults."
