AC Milan's Ancelotti on Man City friendly: Let's not get thrashed

AC Milan boss Carlo Ancelotti admits he doesn't know what lies ahead of his team for today's friendly against Manchester City.

After last week's 5-0 thrashing against Chelsea, Ancelotti is reluctant to make any predictions, saying: "We hope that the test with Manchester City will have a positive result. That defeat in Moscow must serve as motivation to avoid similar humiliation and play better in defence."

New signings Tabare Viudez and Mathias Cardacio are set to make their Milan debuts and Ancelotti added: "Paloschi will play upfront and then Viudez will probably take over. He is very talented, fast and sharp. Cardacio has more experience and is a classic midfielder who can play in any of the three positions. Given time, they can both do well at Milan."
