AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has assured fans the prospect of making a big signing will always be on the agenda of president Silvio Berlusconi.

"We're certainly more careful with the budget," said Galliani, "but the president's passion is the same as always.

"We cannot shut the door on not making a big investment. We're more careful, yes, but we'll continue to invest when the opportunity presents itself."
