LA Galaxy striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has become a co-owner in Hammarby.

The Swedes have announced Ibrahimovic has bought 50 per cent of the Allsvenskan outfit.

The news was confirmed by Hammarby this morning and Ibrahimovic said: "Hammarby is a fantastic club with passionate supporters and has a great respect both in Stockholm and in Sweden.

"I have always liked the club and the fans, I was impressed by what the club has done in recent years both on and off the field."

The playing future of Ibrahimovic remains in play, with AC Milan and Bologna still in the mix for his signature.
