Zlatan Ibrahimovic insists AC Milan can be proud of their performance at Tottenham - despite being eliminated from the Champions League.
The second-leg finished 0-0, so allowing Spurs to progress courtesy of their 1-0 first-leg victory.
"We played well, but didn't get the goal, which was the only thing we were lacking this evening," said the Swede.
"Over two legs Tottenham had one shot on goal and scored. The best team doesn't always win.
"I am satisfied with my performance and everyone in the team played well. I tried to score, but the ball would not cross the line.
"It's a shame we went out of the Champions League, but we still have the Scudetto and Coppa Italia to focus on."
