AC Milan striker Stephan El Shaarawy says he's proud to be capped by Italy.

El Shaarawy's family has an Egyptian background.

"My mother lives with me in Milan, while my father travels to and from Savona. My parents take care of my money too. I don't go out clubbing and I don't have a girlfriend, as I just want to focus on football right now.

"I am tied to my father's land and am happy to visit relatives in Egypt, but I feel Italian and was never remotely tempted when Egypt asked me to play for them. My dream is to take part in the 2014 World Cup and hopefully win it."
