AC Milan are stepping up their interest in Almeria goalkeeper Diego Alves.
The Brazilian, who carries an Italian passport, has been tracked by Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani since his days with Atletico Mineiro.
Alves, 22, has just over two years to run on his current Almeria contract and is aware of Milan's growing interest.
