AC Milan refuse to drop pursuit of Man City striker Balotelli

AC Milan haven't shelved hopes of bringing Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli back to Italy this year.

AC Milan haven't shelved hopes of bringing Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli back to Italy this year.

While Balo's agent, Mino Raiola insisted on the weekend any Milan move would not happen for a couple of years, Datasport says the Rossoneri will push on with plans to sign the striker in June.

Raiola made similar comments about Zlatan Ibrahimovic when he was at Inter and Milan know the way he operates.

Balotelli faces more misery in Manchester with knee surgery now needed and Milan powerbrokers are convinced they can lure the youngster home in 2011.
