AC Milan senior figures are against president Silvio Berlusconi's bid to bring Chelsea striker Andriy Shevchenko back to the San Siro this summer.
Il Giornale says coach Carlo Ancelotti and senior players Paolo Maldini, Gennaro Gattuso and Clarence Seedorf were all alarmed by Berlusconi's declarations last week that he is "80 per cent" convinced he can re-sign Shevchenko.
The Milan dressing room believe Shevchenko doesn't deserve to be offered a return after the way he quit the Rossoneri last summer.
