AC Milan have received encouraging noises from the camp of PSG defender Thiago Silva.

The Brazilian is unhappy in Paris and would jump at the chance to return to Milan, says Sportmediaset.

After previously refusing to consider offers for Stephan El Shaarawy, Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani's comments this week that "he was not off the market" are understood to be encouragement to Manchester City to bid again for the striker.

Milan plan to fund a deal for Thiago Silva by cashing in on El Shaarawy.
