AC Milan have outbid Juventus for Palermo striker Amauri.

Gazzetta dello Sport says Milan have offered £10 million cash plus youngsters Ignazio Abate and Lino Marzoratti in exchange for Brazilian-born Amauri. In contrast, Juve's last bid was for £7 million cash plus Antonio Nocerino and Davide Lanzafame.

Milan are also well down the road in negotiations with Amauri's agent over personal terms, with the striker seeking £2.7 million-a-year.
