AC Milan midfielder Rade Krunic was delighted after their 1-0 win at Monza.

Milan won via a goal from Junior Messias.

Krunic later said: “It weighs a lot, after two useful results we wanted to end the week in the best possible way. Monza are a tough and motivated opponent who play good football, it wasn't easy but we prepared ourselves well.

“Certainly in Serie A, there are very few games without suffering. No one likes to suffer, but we like to fight together on the pitch, even suffer together for a positive result.

“With this victory, we ended a perfect week in terms of points. The bad period is behind us, now let's look ahead and think about working."
