AC Milan assistant coach Mauro Tassotti says management are delighted to have the team back at the top of the table.
"We are happy with how things are going," admitted Tassotti, who won five Scudetti, two European Cups and two Intercontinental titles with the Rossoneri in the `80s and `90s.
"We are at the top despite several absences and this makes us proud. But we must not forget that only 10 rounds of the championship have passed.
"Milan wants to stay at the summit and we hope that it will remain there until the end of the championship."
