AC Milan legend Alessandro Nesta says Italy coach Antonio Conte can lift Mario Balotelli's confidence this week.
The Liverpool striker has received a surprise recall to the Azzurri.
"I don't know Balotelli," ex-Azzurri defender Nesta told Sky Sport Italia.
"I think that in a solid group even someone who goes off the rails can be put back on track.
"Conte has a winning project, he is someone who will not accept finishing second, he only wants to win. He left Juventus, but is a great choice for the Nazionale. He's the top candidate."
