AC Milan are ready to keep AS Roma defender Nicolas Burdisso in Italy.
Off contract in June, Burdisso has spoken of returning home to Argentina.
But Il Giorno says Milan are ready to make a move for Burdisso, despite already striking a loan deal for Valencia stopper Adil Rami.
Milan also plan to cut their squad numbers and will seek to place Kevin Constant, Antonio Nocerino, M'Baye Niang and Jhon Vergara at new clubs in January.
