AC Milan hero Demetrio Albertini says his old club needs to re-sign LA Galaxy striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

The Swede is being linked with a January loan move to the Rossonero.

"I'd always want him in my team," Albertini said when asked about the prospect outside the ceremony to announce the Gran Galà del Calcio nominees.

“There's the cost that it can be difficult to manage things, but he gives you different solutions are a player and personality."

Albertini also wants to see more locals get their chance in Serie A.

“I hope more and more Italians will play in Serie A, now that our teams are doing well in Europe, young Italians have the chance to gain experience in big games and that can be important for the national team too."
