AC Milan fullback Davide Calabria admits Napoli have surprised them this season.

Napoli are clear at the top of the Serie A table.

“We didn't expect Napoli to be this strong, they are having an incredible season," admitted Calabria.

“I think it's still early, January is a crucial month because they have many big games. We must make up lost ground and hopefully, some injured players will return. So I am optimistic.

“We are a strong team and we've proved we can win another title. Perhaps, it will be even more difficult than last season because there are many clubs involved.

“But I see a great Milan in the next few years, this will be a target."
