AC Milan are pushing to close a deal for teenage Partizan Belgrade centre-forward Matija Popovic.

The 17 year-old comes off contract at the end of the year and talks between his family and Milan have been ongoing for almost 12 months, says TMW.

Milan are stepping up negotiations, eager to lock down Popovic knowing rival interest is now arriving.

Borussia Dortmund and Barcelona are also in contact with the Popovic family as his contract runs down.

Popovic's father also acts as his agent and it's suggested he will be seeking €1m in commission from the successful signing club.
