AC Milan directors are optimistic that Zlatan Ibrahimovic is ready to sign a contract.

Corriere della Sera says after the 5-0 humiliation at Atalanta, Milan directors called Ibrahimovic and received positive feedback from the 38 year-old.

The striker wants to be sure he can make a difference and also has requested a change of terms involving what is needed to trigger a new deal beyond the end of this season.

The Rossonero are willing to accommodate and have an expectation to hear from Ibrahimovic over the coming seven days about his final decision.
