AC Milan insist there was no internal campaign waged against sacked coach Clarence Seedorf.
Seedorf's agent has hinted as much this week in defending her client against a number of comments that in recent days have spoken of 'difficulties' encountered during his six months back at the club as Coach.
But Milan denies the claims and released the following statement:
"Milan states that the interviews of some of its people, who seem to have aroused the wonder of Deborah Martin, agent to Clarence Seedorf, were made by the authors as an expression of their own thoughts, without preventative action whatsoever by the club," Milan have commented.
