AC Milan defender Fikayo Tomori admits he was disappointed missing England World Cup selection.
Tomori was snubbed by England coach Gareth Southgate after the squad was announced last week.
He said, "I wanted to go to the World Cup, it's every player's dream. I'll keep working and I hope to raise my level with Milan too, there's disappointment but the only thing I can do is keep playing like today."
Tomori was speaking after victory over Fiorentina.
He continued: "It was very important for us to win after Cremonese, it was a difficult game. We are happy to have won before the break. The save on the line? Instinct. In my opinion, we deserved this victory.
"Let's not give up, we know that this championship is still long. We have to keep pushing, every game is important and we have to focus only on ourselves."
