AC Milan defender Kjaer: Denmark not satisfied with Euro semi-final run

Denmark captain Simon Kjaer says his team are not satisfied by being in the semi finals at Euro 2020.

Despite losing their opening two group games, Denmark squeezed into the knockout stages and then defeated Wales and Czech Republic to get into the last four.

Kjaer knows getting this far is an achievement for a team that was not fancied as one of the pre-tournament favourites, but says the squad wants to go all the way.

Denmark take on England at Wembley in the second semi final on Wednesday, with Italy playing Spain on Tuesday.

"It's huge. It's insane," said Kjaer, per the Evening Standard.

"It is an insane achievement we have made with the team, but also with the staff, with all the people around. They must never be forgotten, the people behind and the things we have been through.

"We had like a goal before we went into this camp that we were going back to Wembley, and we are now. But I'd also be lying if I said that we're okay with reaching the semis."
