AC Milan coach Stefano Pioli won't underestimate Europa League opponents Celtic on Thursday.

Celtic are 11 points off table leaders Rangers in the Scotland Premier League and lost the derby 2-0 back in October.

"I respect for my colleague. I know he's doing a good job. Celtic have always performed well, sometimes it happens not to gain results," said Pioli.

“We expect a determined opponent, we must be a very serious team tomorrow. We have not yet achieved the qualification. The game tomorrow must be played well because Celtic can create troubles for us. We must be very prepared.

“We must not stop trying to command the matches but we must also know what to do when it is time to suffer and be united.

“We have to keep being dangerous, trying to do it all the way through the game, because we have the qualities to do it.

“We know that we still have room for improvement and we must continue to work to be able to grow."
