AC Milan coach Stefano Pioli was delighted with their 2-0 defeat of Hellas Verona.
The Rossoneri sealed the three points thanks to goals from Rade Krunic and Diogo Dalot.
“We are a team and we are a stronger team when we are all together. We are a team also when we miss some players," Pioli told Sky Italia.
“We are not Martians, we can make mistakes, but we know our path and our growth. Difficulties have been helping us to improve," he added.
“We have tough opponents. This was a challenging game against a team that have always created trouble. We didn't suffer as much as in the previous games against them.
“We've been working together for one year and a half. We didn't want to give Verona any point of reference and we played well today. We played a good game on a pitch that was not perfect.
“We changed our positions sometimes, but the identity remained the same."
