AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri has sympathy for veteran striker Pippo Inzaghi.

Inzaghi is ready to leave Milan next month after failing to make a first team impression this season.

"I am sorry for him. He's a player who has made history with Milan. He has great enthusiasm, but I need to make my decisions.

"For a little time he did not train with the team and that's why he has not been selected."
