AC Milan sports chief Massimiliano Mirabelli has met with Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata about a summer Serie A return.
Morata was spotted in Turin over the weekend, though denied reports he'd spoken with Juventus officials.
Sky Italia says Mirabelli has spoken with Morata face-to-face to test the ground about a deal. However, the feedback was lukewarm given Milan's struggles this season.
Morata wants to leave Chelsea for Champions League football and Milan only scraped into the Europa League this term.
Juve, meanwhile, are also keen on the Spain international, who was spotted with his agent and Bianconeri sports chief Fabio Paratici in Milan last month.
