AC Milan chief Paolo Maldini has been named Manager of the Year in Italy.
Maldini received the Manlio Scopigno award on Thursday.
A statement from the voting committee read: “After achieving history on the field with Milan and Italy, he is revealing himself to be a great director too.
“As a technical director of the Rossoneri, he has been able to combine excellent sporting results with a smart and long-term vision for economic development.
“He has been a fundamental figure to revitalise Milan and write a new chapter in an infinite story."
