AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani regards Lazio as genuine title challengers.
Lazio are still the sole Serie A leaders and many wonder whether they can keep this up.
"I think they can challenge for the Scudetto and they have enthusiasm, even though it's incomprehensible that the same team last year risked relegation. The only changes are Aleksandar Kolarov has gone and Hernanes came in.
"We had tracked Hernanes in the past, but at the time Milan had a great midfielder called Kaka," said Galliani.
"Can Kaka return from Real Madrid? I don't know."
