AC Milan chief Galliani insists no panic over defender search

AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani insists they're not panicking over their pursuit of a new defensive signing.

After missing out on Chelsea's Branislav Ivanovic this week, Galliani rapped: "I want to make it very clear that Milan will not be rushed into making any decisions by anybody.

"We will either find the defender we need or we will stay as we are. Alessandro Nesta and Kakha Kaladze are available and we can count on Paolo Maldini, Daniele Bonera and Giuseppe Favalli, not to forget Massimo Ambrosini.

"There's never any point in making quick decisions, especially because we have players who can cover."
