AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani admits they'll be happy to see the back of 2013.
Galliani is hoping for a change in Serie A fortunes in the New Year.
"We hope we have a good 2014," said Galliani.
"I expect a lot more points in Serie A, seeing as we have very few right now, but there is the odd excuse - like the many injuries.
"It's not a great Christmas in terms of the championship, but it is if we think about the Champions League where we are the only Italian side in the last 16."
