AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has defended the loan signing of Arsenal defender Philippe Senderos.

The Swiss has yet to make his debut due to injury, but Galliani says: "Senderos? I can't understand how you can judge a signing that has never appeared in official competitions, not even for a minute.

"Doing this must be part of the Calcio extravaganza."
