AC Milan chief Galliani confirms plans to upgrade Allegri contract

AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani admits plans are underway to hand coach Massimiliano Allegri a new contract.

Having started his Milanello adventure so well, it seems just a matter of time before the Coach puts pen to paper on a longer deal.

"Here at Milan, verbal agreements are much more important than a signature on a piece of paper," Vice-President Galliani said.

"In his first year at Milan, Allegri has been able to win the Scudetto and the Italian Super Cup. That's what Arrigo Sacchi and Fabio Capello achieved here."
