AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani believes Mario Balotelli is becoming too important for Manchester City to be a realistic signing option.

City boss Roberto Mancini has quickly handed Balotelli an automatic start since his return from injury.

"He is now a 90 minute player for Manchester City," conceded Galliani.

"It does not appear they want to sell him."
