AC Milan chief Ariedo Braida admits they rate Napoli as a major title challenger.
The Rossoneri's lead at the top of the Serie A table has been cut to three points ahead of joint second-placed Napoli and Lazio.
"Napoli are truly a very strong side and I hope they slow down a bit, as they are doing great things," the director told Radio Crc.
"It had been a long time since we'd seen Napoli fighting for the top spot or give the sensation they could challenge to win the Scudetto.
"In this season they find themselves battling for the title, like Milan, thanks to a particularly smart transfer campaign.
"At this moment Napoli can make the most of a wonderful striker like Edinson Cavani, who is doing amazing things.
"I believe Napoli to be a highly competitive squad who will fight for the Scudetto to the end."
