Manchester United face competition from AC Milan for Porto defender Eliaquim Mangala.

The young Frenchman talked up the prospect of moving to Old Trafford earlier this week amid reports of United tabling an £18 million bid for his services.

However, Corriere dello Sport says Milan are also interested in Mangala, who fits their new profile for transfer targets.

Mangala is expected to be on the move from Porto this summer.
