Negotiations are underway between AC Milan and Tottenham regarding defender Japhet Tanganga.

According to Tuttosport, the Italian club are hopeful of securing him on a loan deal for this season.

Tanganga wants to go where he can play regularly, while Spurs are seeking to sell him permanently.

The club would ideally like a transfer that includes a buy-back option, but Milan will push for a loan with an option to buy.
