Manchester United are expected to welcome AC Milan midfielder Nigel de Jong today. The Dutchman is expected in Manchester today for a medical and to finalise terms.
United moved for De Jong on Saturday after a bid on Friday for Arturo Vidal was turned down by Juventus.
Milan will allow De Jong to leave after welcoming Marco van Ginkel on-loan from Chelsea this morning.
Dutchman De Jong is a former Manchester City player and is keen to return to the Northwest and play for his former Holland coach Louis van Gaal.
