AC Milan ace Leao brands Cassano a clown after 'he thinks he's a phenomenon' blast

AC Milan ace Rafael Leao has branded Antonio Cassano a clown after copping criticism from the former Rossonero star.

Cassano, after seeing Milan defeat Lecce, declared Leao as overrated.

He was asked: "In the past you were a bit harsh on Leao saying that he's a lot of smoke and no fire, you changed your mind?"

Cassano replied: "Absolutely not. I continue to think so, because if I go and look at Rashford as a winger last year he scored 26 goals (actually 30) and plays in a wonderful championship playing the two phases.

"Kvaratskhelia arrives and has a wonderful championship doing the two phases. Foden, he is a year younger and this year he has already scored 21 goals and 10 assists; let's talk about what?

"Since the championship in Italy is not good, the problem is that he thinks he is a phenomenon and there are people who are after him. He is a good player who has great physical strength. Finished. So people like Kaká, Rui Costa, Vinicius himself today, how much should they get? He asked for a lot of money and they gave it to him, now he's worth 120, 130, 140 million? What are we talking about? We are talking about a normal player who has physical strength."

In response, Leao took to social media to brand Cassano a clown, with a series a clown emojis.
