Abramovich would bring Falcao ahead of Mourinho to Chelsea

If he had to choose, Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich would take Atletico Madrid striker Radamel Falcao over Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho.

The People says Abramovich is keen to sign Atletico Madrid's brilliant Colombian striker Falcao, who is another client of Mourinho's agent Jorge Mendes.

Mendes will be extremely influential on the destination of Falcao, who is also wanted by Manchester City, and there are plans in place to engineer moves for both Mourinho and Falcao to Stamford Bridge.

Ironically, Abramovich is more keen to recruit Falcao than Mourinho - and has been desperate to get his hands on the £50million-rated Colombian since he scored a hat-trick for Atletico against Chelsea in this season's European Super Cup match.
