Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich will be at John Terry's wedding tomorrow in a show of unity with his players.
But manager Jose Mourinho has told his skipper he will not be able to make the glittering bash at Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire as he is on a family holiday.
Terry, who marries fiancee Toni Poole, will be supported by almost the entire Chelsea first-team squad. But owner Abramovich's decision to go has surprised the players.
A source close to the Russian admitted it was a sign of his loyalty to Terry and the club.
He told The Sun: "Roman wants to be there on such an important day for the captain and hopes his presence will speak louder to the other players.
"Last season was difficult for all sorts of reasons ' for the club and for Roman. Hopefully everyone can put it behind them. Next season is the most important thing now."
