Aberdeen boss Brown remains hopeful keeping Maguire

Aberdeen boss Craig Brown remains hopeful of keeping striker Chris Maguire.

Maguire struck twice in victory over Hibs yesterday.

Brown said: "He's established at Aberdeen, he doesn't have anything to prove.

"Craig Levein's already picked him, so he doesn't need to go to England to get picked for Scotland - that's been proved already.

"I encourage him to stay. I would think it's in his best interests."
