A-League Round 2 – Melbourne Victory v Perth Glory
This is shaping as the match of the week for Round 2 of the A-League.
The Victory had a seesawing affair with Sydney FC last week, going two goals behind before fighting their way in front only to have a late goal force them into a 3-3 draw.
In Perth, the Glory had a similar encounter with the North Queensland Fury but were unlucky to share the points as an injury time goal thwarted an opening round victory.
The scene is set for an enthralling battle with more than 20,000 fans expected at Melbourne’s AAMI Park and I feel another goalfest is on the cards if Perth come here to play.
Verdict: Draw 2-2.
