A-League player movements - Adelaide United

There has been plenty of movement in the A-League playing ranks in the off season.

The 2009/10 A-League season is just three months away so we thought it might be worthwhile to provide readers with a recap of each club’s comings and goings.

First cab off the rank is Adelaide United who have made headlines recently due to the changing of hands in regards to ownership of the club.

Owner Nick Bianco withdrew his investment of the Reds, meaning Football Federation Australia had to step in to take control but hopefully this won’t affect the playing personnel which has seen some changes.

Arrivals: Iain Fyfe (Sydney FC – 1 year), Adam Hughes (Drogheda United, Ireland – 2 years), Michael Marrone (Adelaide United youth team – 1 year).

Departures: Paul Agostino (retired), Daniel Beltrame (retired), Angelo Costanzo (released), Diego (released), Isyan Erdogan (released), Sasa Ognenovski (Seongnam Ilhwa, Korea Republic), Jonas Salley (released), Jason Spagnuolo (North Queensland Fury), Michael Valkanis (retired), Robert Younis (released).
