Jermaine Pennanthas joined League One club Bury as a free agent.
The 34-year-old winger has joined this 14th professional club having signed a short-term deal with the Shakers.
Pennant calls Liverpool, Arsenal, Leeds United, Birmingham City, Watford, Portsmouth, Real Zaragoza and Wolverhampton Wanderers as some of his former clubs.
He last played in the Premier League with Stoke City in 2014.
Pennant spent time in Singapore with Tampines Rovers last year but is now back in the UK and will strive to help 20th-placed Bury move away from the relegation zone in England's third tier.
