West Ham United are scouting Wigan centre-half Charlie Hughes.
The 19 year-old has been watched regularly by the Irons this season.
Hughes made his debut with the Lactics in December last season and has impressed West Ham football chiefs, says The Sun.
He has a record of two goals in ten games and has also worn the captain's armband twice.
Hughes spent time with Manchester City and Liverpool's academies before joining Wigan in 2017.
