Colorado Rapids have extended their sponsorship agreement with Transamerica until 2019, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/.
The financial services company has agreed to remain the club's main shirt sponsor for an additional three years, having signed an initial two-year agreement with the Rapids ahead of last season.
Transamerica's logo will continue to feature on the Rapids' home and away jerseys, as well as throughout Dick's Sporting Goods Park.
Financial terms of the renewal, brokered by Rapids owners Kroenke Sports & Entertainment, have not been disclosed.
"We are delighted to extend our commitment to the Colorado Rapids and by association the development of soccer here in the US," said David Macmillan, the chief marketing officer at Transamerica.
"Not only do we believe in what the Rapids are building as a franchise, but we are thrilled to work with an organisation that supports thousands of youth soccer players and their families across the country, and one that is so active in improving its local community.
"This aligns perfectly with Transamerica's passion for the wellbeing of our customers and their communities."
