Premier League side Crystal Palace failed with a cheeky managerial hiring attempt this week.
The Mail states that the London club attempted to poach Ipswich Town boss Kieran McKenna.
However, the former Manchester United first team coach is said to have rejected Palace.
The club's chairman Steve Parish spoke with McKenna's camp, but the latter is committed to Ipswich.
He has the club vying for a promotion spot, while Palace are in Premier League relegation danger.
McKenna may also not believe he can come in and make a big impact at Palace midseason.
