Paços de Ferreira coach Jorge Simão was proud of his players after their shock victory over Tottenham.
The Portuguese have taken charge of their Europa Conference League playoff with a 1-0 first-leg triumph.
Simao said: "I think we played a consistent game, a good game. Above all, we improved where we didn't do well in the last game. We had the ability to be competitive. We won, it could be by more than a goal and I say it without boasting...
"The differences between the teams are abysmal, despite the eleven that Tottenham presented. But the truth is that they didn't have a goal chance. That makes me satisfied. The result and also the difference in relation to the last game. The job is always to realise what we did wrong and improve in the next game."
